Temporary Job Opening / Appointment of Part Time JU-SYLFF Project

Assistant

Nature of Job: Academic and Administrative support to the Project Director, JU-SYLFF Programme (brief details about the SYLFF programme can be seen from. 

Nature of Appointment: Temporary and part time (two days in a week at least)

Eligibility:

1.  Applicant needs to be a student of the Arts Faculty [Departments/Schools/Centers of Faculty of Arts] or the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Law and Management [Cognitive Science/Cultural Texts and Records/International Relations and Strategic Studies/Media Communication and Culture/Languages and Linguistics/Women Studies].

2.  Students in UG-II (4th semester) or PG-I (2nd semester) as on the date of this notice.

Qualifications:

1. Essential: Proficiency in handling computer applications such as MS Office, and also adept at web-browsing and email communications.

2. Desirable: Should have good writing skills in English. Office hours: 5.30 PM - 8.00 PM

Pay: A lumpsum amount of Rs. 500/- per day will be paid.

Application Procedure: 

There is no printed application form. The students need to type out the following details on a plain A4 size sheet and submit it to the Office of the Joint Registrar (Dr. Sanjay Gopal Sarkar) at the second floor of Aurobinda Bhawan.

Selection Procedure:

A personal interview will be conducted by the JU-SYLFF Committee Members.

Important Points to note:

1.  Applications should reach the Office of the Joint Registrar not later than 27 June 2025 (Friday).

2.  Interview with the applicants: 30 June 2025 at 12 PM (Monday)
