Position: Community Trainer
Number: Seven
CVs are invited from eligible candidates for the following Work components (Components 1 and 2) under the given research project. Candidates can apply for either 1 of two components or both components.
Project Name: MY-Harshit, funded by Asia Pacific Network (APN)
Title- Goal: Gender-orientated adaptive transformation cross-learning for climate change and disaster risk resilience among India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Japan
Project Survey Location - Bishnupur, Manipur
Amount Paid per day for 8 days as per the Project norms. It is inclusive of local area transportation or fuel charges; however, rates may vary as per local norms.
Tasks to be carried out for :
Component 1
1. Indicator development of survey
2. Preparation of Survey Questionnaires - 6 Themes at each location
3. Community training tool development
Component 2
4. Field Survey Work
5. Conducting Training of the local community in workshops in Bishnupur.
6. Data collection
The travel and food for the project will be paid as per the project norms and conditions
Criterion for Selection: The field officer will be selected based on the following criteria:
1)The essential qualification is a graduate degree in the field of Social science/Environmental Science/ Planning or related subject with a minimum of 55%.
2) It is desired that the candidate has experience of conducting field surveys. Candidates with experience conducting stakeholder consultation/ workshops or projects involving community engagement will be preferred.
3) Proficiency in report writing, excel, and data management is needed. It is desirable that the expert has experience in the related domain pertaining to the project in the case study area. For component 2, knowledge of local language of the communities of Manipur is needed.
